Fire protocol
IN CASE OF FIRE
If you discover a fire or smell smoke:
- INFORM RECEPTION IMMEDIATELY.
Giving your room number. - Follow the instructions of the hostel staff.
- DON´T SHOUT.
- CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND LEAVE your room, closing the door behind you.
- Follow the signals to the emergency exits.
DON´T RUN. - If you notice the PRESENCE OF SMOKE, try and reach the exit keeping as close to the floor as possible.
CRAWL IF NECESSARY. - If the way to the EXIT IS BLOCKED by smoke or fire, RETURN immediately to your room. Stay inside with the DOOR CLOSED.
- INFORM OTHERS OF YOUR SITUATION.
- SHOW YOURSELF AT THE WINDOW.
